A serene, private ocean farewell just offshore from the Jacksonville Beach coast.
Jacksonville Beach sits right on the Atlantic, and for many families, that connection to the water makes it the natural place to hold a final farewell. Our ash scattering services bring that experience offshore in a way that is quiet, handled with care, and built entirely around your family's needs from start to finish. Whether you're interested in bachelor and bachelorette party charters or memorials, we handle everything with the same attention.
We've been on these waters since December 1999. Over the years, families from Jacksonville Beach and the surrounding communities have trusted us with some of the most significant moments imaginable—from memorial services to offshore fishing trips. The ocean has a way of making a goodbye feel complete. There's space out there and a stillness that's genuinely hard to find anywhere else.
Every ash-scattering-at-sea trip we run is fully private. Your family gets the boat, the captain, and the entire experience. We operate six well-maintained charter boats, and our captains hold U.S. Coast Guard Master Captain licenses. No other passengers, no shared schedules, no intrusions on the moment your family came for. We also offer deep sea fishing off Jacksonville Beach for other occasions.
We provide respectful, professional ash scattering at sea for families throughout Jacksonville Beach and northeast Florida. Our crew handles logistics from the moment you arrive at the dock so your family can focus entirely on the ceremony. Every detail is managed with genuine care.
Our ocean ash scattering charters take small groups offshore for a private ceremony on the open Atlantic. These trips are designed specifically for memorial occasions. We know the waters off Jacksonville Beach well, and we identify locations suited to the kind of moment you're creating.
A remembrance at sea gives your family a chance to gather on the water, share words, play music, or simply be present with one another. A memorial at sea holds a quality of intention that is hard to find in most land-based settings. We give you the time and space to make it what it needs to be.
Our private sea burial is exactly that. Private. Just your family, the boat, and the ocean. A burial at sea service carried out with this level of exclusivity creates an intimacy that a shared arrangement simply cannot replicate. The ceremony belongs entirely to you.
Every ash scattering ceremony we host is shaped around the family's vision. Some are quiet and brief. Others include readings, flower petals on the water, and music. Our sea memorial service has no fixed script, just a framework your family fills in based on what your loved one would have appreciated.
Our vessels are cleaned and prepared specifically for each memorial trip. A boat service for memorials requires more than a seaworthy boat. It requires an environment that matches the occasion. Every boat for ash scattering we use is ready in that sense before your family arrives.
The open Atlantic has a way of creating space for grief and memory at the same time. Families often describe a sense of release they didn't expect, something about the horizon and the distance from shore that makes a final farewell at sea feel complete in a way that other settings rarely offer.
A sea burial is your family's moment, on your timeline, with the people you choose. We don't dictate what the ceremony looks like. You can bring flowers, music, a reading, or nothing at all. A respectful sea burial means honoring the person in the way they would have wanted, not following someone else's format.
Scattering ashes at sea is among the most environmentally considerate choices a family can make. With biodegradable containers, cremation ash scattering sends your loved one back to the natural world without leaving anything behind. Many families find real meaning in that simplicity.
Florida's climate makes a dignified ash scattering possible year-round. You don't need to wait for a specific season or work around weather windows. We run memorial trips throughout the year and work with families to find a date that gives them enough time to prepare and gather.
Families consistently tell us that a memorial at sea was the most fitting goodbye they could have given. Marine ash scattering creates a memory tied to a specific place and moment. The water, the act of letting go, the people around you. That image stays clear long after the day is done.
We've been operating out of St. Augustine since December 1999, and our work on these waters goes well beyond fishing. Over the years, families from Jacksonville Beach and across northeast Florida have trusted us to host ash scattering at sea services, and we've handled each one with the same level of attention and care.
Our captains hold U.S. Coast Guard Master Captain licenses and have accumulated real experience on the offshore grounds along this coast. Running a cremation ceremony at sea properly takes a captain who understands the maritime environment and the emotional weight of the day. Our crew has both. We operate six charter boats, all available for funeral at sea services and sportfishing adventures, all maintained to the same consistent standard.
What we offer is not a mass-market arrangement. It's a private, personal experience where your family's comfort and the dignity of the ceremony come first. We've been doing this long enough to understand what families need, and we take that responsibility seriously.

Yes. Ash scattering at sea is fully legal in Florida when performed at least three nautical miles from shore, in compliance with federal EPA guidelines. We handle all required permitting and regulatory notifications on your behalf so your family doesn't have to navigate that process during an already difficult time.
Absolutely. We've hosted ceremonies that were entirely silent and others that included music, spoken readings, and flowers scattered on the water. The ash scattering ceremony takes whatever shape fits the person being remembered. Our crew will help you plan it in advance and support whatever direction you take on the day.
That depends on the boat. We operate six charter boats of different sizes, so there's a good option for most group sizes. Whether it's a small immediate family or a larger gathering, we'll recommend the right vessel. Just let us know roughly how many people to expect when you call.
Safety is always the first consideration. If offshore conditions aren't appropriate for a sea memorial service, we'll work with you to reschedule at no additional cost. We monitor conditions closely as your date approaches and communicate with you well in advance if there's any concern.
We'll do our best to accommodate requests that are safe and legally compliant. Many families want to scatter ashes in a place that meant something to their loved one, and our captains know these offshore waters well enough to help you identify a meaningful spot.
In any container you choose. If you plan to use a biodegradable urn, we can advise on options when you call. Our crew handles the ashes with complete respect from the moment you hand them over through the entirety of the ocean memorial charter.
